We offer complete preparation to help you obtain the Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE), awarded by the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, and Sports of Spain. This certificate is the international standard for assessing your level of knowledge and command of Spanish, both nationally and globally.
In our course, you will work with real exam samples, familiarize yourself with the exam structure (including tests, tasks, and grading criteria), and receive strategies and resources from our teachers to help you pass the exam successfully. With us, you will be fully prepared to earn your DELE!
Parts of the DELE Exam
The DELE exam is divided into several sections, each designed to assess different aspects of language proficiency, and we prepare you for each one:
Reading comprehension: We will improve your ability to understand texts of various types and difficulty levels.
Listening comprehension: We will test your ability to understand conversations and audio in Spanish.
Written expression: We will help you develop your ability to write coherent and clear texts that meet the requirements of the exam.

Number of academic hours:
30 academic hours (50 min each) in either an intensive format or in short term courses. In case there is no minimun number of students the number of hours can be reduced.
Courses begin:
Three weeks before the official DELE exam date.
Ideal for you if:
You need to accredit your level of Spanish with an official diploma. If you require this in order to obtain Spanish nationality, a professional position or to study in Spain.
Levels available:
A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2.
Duration of each academic hour:
50 minutes.
Price:
215 euros plus 50 euros for enrolment and student materials. Taxes included. Minimum númber of students: 5.
To obtain the Spanish nationality
According to new Spanish regulations, among the requirements to obtain Spanish nationality are two tests designed and administered by the Instituto Cervantes: CCSE and DELE.
The tests can be performed at FUNCARELE centre.
DELE A2 exam for Spanish nationality
In order to be eligible for Spanish citizenship, applicants are required to obtain, if they haven’t already, the DELESpanish Language Diploma (Diploma de español) at level A2 or higher. Applicants from countries or territories in which Spanish is an official language are exempt from this requirement. Further requirements for the obtainment of Spanish citizenship can be found on the Ministry of Justice’s website.
DELE A2 Workshop
A regular occurrence among those applying for Spanish citizenship is that, despite having the required level of Spanish language skills, they fail the exam as a result of not knowing exactly how to approach it, the type of answer being sought in each section or they run out of time because they are unaware of how long they should spend on each part. In order to make sure that you don’t end up in this frustrating situation, we offer a 4-hour workshop in which we explain in great detail exactly what is expected of the candidate in both the written and oral components of the exam. We also carry out a mock exam, adhering to the set time limits for each task, so that you won’t be faced with any undesired surprises on exam day.
The workshop lasts for 4 hours and is held on a Friday, one week before the exam, from 16:00 to 20:00.
Foreigners who aspire to obtain Spanish nationality must take the mandatory test of Constitutional and Sociocultural Knowledge of Spain that accredits their knowledge of Spanish culture. The test consists of 25 multiple-choice questions and is held on the last Thursday of each month (except August and December). You can take the CCSE test in our school.
