CCSE - Spanish nationality test<\/h2><\/div>
The CCSE exam (Conocimientos Constitucionales y Socioculturales de Espa\u00f1a)\u00a0is an exam created by the\u00a0Instituto Cervantes in order to evaluate your knowlege of the Spanish Constitution and Spanish social and cultural reality of today.<\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_separator style=”dotted”][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_single_image image=”7674″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]Foreigners who aspire to obtain Spanish citizenship for residence (foreign residents in Spain and people with a Sephardic Jewish origin) are required to complete a mandatory test of constitutional and sociocultural knowledge of Spain (CCSE). This test certifies the constitutional and cultural knowledge of Spain, and must be taken by all those who apply for citizenship in accordance with the new law which came into effect on October 15, 2015, except for minors or individuals with a legally certified lack of mental capacity.<\/p>\n

The CCSE test is available in our centre in Cartagena starting January 2016. You can take the CCSE test with us on any of the available dates.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CCSE test consists of 25 multiple choice questions (the candidate has to choose one of three options), or true \/ false questions (the candidate has to decide whether a statement is true or false). 60% of the questions are related to the Constitution (government, legislation and citizen participation in Spain) and the rest deal with Spanish culture, history and society.<\/p>\n

The test lasts a maximum of 45 minutes, and in order to obtain a pass, the candidate must correctly answer at least 15 questions. The candidate will receive the results approximately 20 days after the examination. The candidate has the right to take the test on a maximum of two occasions. After passing the test, the certificate is valid for four years.<\/p>\n

The cost is 85 euros; the price is identical worldwide.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be 10 exam dates a year, and the test will be held on the last Thursday of each month, except in August and December.<\/p>\n

Those who are interested can download the manual created by the Cervantes Institute with 300 questions, of which 25 will be selected for each test.
